Vegan in Sevilla - Alameda Rock
And yet another vegan restaurant in Sevilla! This one is really close to Alameda de Hércules (hence the name "Alameda Rock") and shares its space with a hostel.
I went there twice in the beginning of my stay in Sevilla, when I was just getting used to the Spanish language and Andalusian accent, and I confess I found it a little tricky to communicate with the man serving us since he wouldn't speak English to us or slow down his Spanish. We managed to get our point across, and maybe I was just unlucky and he didn't notice my struggles. Either way, we had great food!
On their menu they have a few pizzas, like this pizza which was probably my favorite thing on the menu.
There's also the "no meat balls" with tomato soup.
And this is their "Frankfurt with cheese", which is kind of a hot dog in a wrap instead of bread.
Here I also got to try "Adobo" with fake chicken and mustard. It was good but again, too much cilantro for me.

For dessert, I tried their carrot cake, and would recommend.
There's also this beautiful chocolate cake topped with cookies that was incredible:
There are plenty of other things on their menu that sound delicious, and also a few daily specials that I didn't get to try. If you're around, give it a look!
I'm actually done with the vegan restaurants in Sevilla! Those were all that I visited, and unfortunately I missed a few. Hopefully I'll one day be able to come back and try all the vegan restaurants I didn't try before!
There were plenty of other veg-friendly restaurants though, and a lot of places with plant based products like vegan cheese and fake meats, as well as unpackaged goodies! I'm planning to write one or two more posts just to share the experiences that might be useful to other conscious visitors! Check them out on my "Sevilla" tag, or if you're looking for food posts specifically, the "Vegan in Sevilla" tag!
