Vegan in Côte d'Azur (French Riviera) ~ Day 6

Villefranche-sur-Mer

Although we all love sightseeing, by now we were kind of tired, especially since it meant that we would spend a lot of time in the car in between places to see. So we decided to spend a day in the beach instead.
I had my cereals and soy milk (by now the almond milk I had bought had finished so I bought one package of soy milk), we packed lunches, beach towels and sunscreen and made our way to Vilefranche-sur-mer.

We took a quick stroll through town before heading down to the beach, and it was such a beautiful place... I really like small, old-looking towns with tight streets where it's easy to get lost.

We got to the shore pretty quickly and as soon as we saw the sea we couldn't wait to get to the beach! The water was so clear and beautiful and the sun was shining and it was the perfect day to be there.

We had a lot of fun playing in the water, there were almost no waves so we could actually swim without being dragged by the current.  We didn't exactly had lunch but rather ate when we were hungry. We brought bread, lettuce, tomato and beans, and also my beloved cookies, both the ones I showed before as these I bought from the same brand to try:

These cookies were also pretty good, but I preferred the others.
We also found some really cute fish while snorkeling, and found out that fish love beans, we fed them some and they got crazy!

Also, when we were eating, we noticed a cute pigeon sitting next to us. We tried giving him some bread and he must have been used to humans, because we could feed him by hand.

It soon became like this though:

We stopped feeding them so we wouldn't attract more birds and be a bother to the other people at the beach. And it was just the right time to leave since it was starting to get chilly.

We went home and had our last meal in our apartment: a few burgers, also from Céréal Grill Vegetal, with vegetables and some noisettes.

Afterwards we would go pack our bags since we had to leave our Airbnb in the morning. The next day we would be flying back to Portugal, but not before spending the whole day in Nice.
