I moved to Seville (Spain) - life update
It's been a while! I failed miserably with my new year resolutions: I wanted to post here weekly and yet I haven't been here for around 2-3 weeks. But I have a good reason: moving out is crazy.
So, if you've read my About Me page you know that I'm a Portuguese college student. If you're not from Europe you might not be familiar with the Erasmus Programme: it's a student exchange program that allows students to study in another European country for 1-2 semesters. It's something that I've always wanted to do ever since I heard about it, and this year I finally had the chance to go with my boyfriend. We chose to come to Seville, so not too far from home - it's a 5 hour drive. My mother was kind enough to drive us here and help us move in.
We had a few problems with the signing up process, though, and it was so confusing that we were only sure that we were coming about 1 month before classes started. That and the fact that we were super busy with exams and projects in Portugal made it hard to find a home. In fact, we couldn't find one before coming here: We had to book a temporary apartment (which was way too expensive to stay in for 6 months) so I could attend my first week of classes.
That first week was very stressful: when we weren't at classes, we would be looking for a home. Every landlord and agency we called was either not answering us or rejecting us. Needless to say, we didn't have much time to enjoy the city. However, since we also didn't have much time to cook, we mostly ate at restaurants, and I was able to get to know a few different veg-friendly places. I'm currently editing a video to show you all the vegan food that I found here in Seville.
Now that the stress is past, I'm really enjoying living here in Seville. I managed to find a home, and I couldn't be happier about it, it's exactly what I hoped for. I have never lived without my family, so now I'm learning all about the responsibility of taking care of my space. I've been cooking everyday, washing my dishes (I don't have a dishwasher), doing laundry, cleaning... It's a lot of work after school, and I'm glad I have my boyfriend here to help me. But it's a lot of fun, and I'm loving it.
Now that I'm not living with my family I feel more comfortable making videos, so I'm excited to work more on my youtube channel. I've been struggling to find time to edit them, but hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon. My first video of Seville is already up on my channel:
As I mentioned, I have a few other videos already filmed, now I just have to find time to edit and upload them. I'll also do my best to post here consistently, whether or not it's about my adventures in Seville, and hopefully I can up my Instagram game as well. More content is on it's way! I couldn't be more excited for the next 6 months.

Have you ever been to Seville, or somewhere else in Spain? How was your experience? Do you have any recommendations for me while I'm here?
Can't wait to see how you deal with all of this! I'm sure you will be just fine living just with your boyfriend.

Good luck with everything in Spain! :D
Thank you! ❤️
