Vegan in Lisbon - Lisbon Vegan Restaurante

Today I bring you another favorite restaurant of mine: Lisbon Vegan Restaurante.

It's in Arroios, in a street close to Avenida Almirante Reis. The entrance to this restaurant is small and modest, and the inside is cute although not that great for pictures (I'm not a great photographer myself though!)

This restaurant has an all you can eat buffet for 6.90 euros at lunch and 7.90 euros at dinner. That doesn't include drinks, desert or coffee, but it's still a really great price for the food they serve. You can check their full menu here.

They offer fresh juice made from up to 3 elements. I ordered apple and beet juice, which was both delicious and beautiful, although this picture doesn't do it justice. While our juices were being made, we got soup and a few entrees from the salad table. I am obsessed with their soup: it's a little spicy which I'm not usually a fan of, but in this case makes it really good and unlike any other soup I had ever tasted.

Afterwards, we went for the main course. Everyday there are a few different dishes to try, and every time I go there I have to try every single one of them! This time I didn't really set my plate pretty for a photo, so it's kind of a mess, but I promise it was delicious! It had curry, lasagna, beans and brown rice.

Finally, I was trying to refrain from having desert, but I honestly couldn't resist. Their mango biscuit cake is to die for!

I highly recommend you check out this place - and come hungry! The staff is absolutely wonderful, the food is delicious and it's a pretty fair price for the service. Besides, it's close to a lot of second hand stores - which is a bonus point for me.

So do check it out if you're in Lisbon and want a big warm meal!
Here's their Facebook page and here their page on HappyCow.
