Vegan in Côte d'Azur (French Riviera) ~ Day 4

Saint-Tropez

We got in the car in the morning as usual, the weather was alright, a bit cloudy but not too much. So it was a little surprising when it started pouring rain while we were on our way to Saint-Tropez!
We are experienced tourists, and rain doesn't stop us. We're used to at least one stormy day every time we travel. So we didn't turn our backs to our plan and kept going to our destination.

When we got there, luckily, we found out that the parking lot we used borrowed umbrellas to their clients. Not before I got soaked though, unfortunately.

A thunderstorm started around the time we were passing by a few restaurants, that were really crowded thanks to the rain. Since we were so cold and it was around lunch time, we also got in the first restaurant we came across.

I'm glad I was still full from the previous day, since the restaurant had absolutely nothing for me to eat - not even a vegetarian salad! Plus, it was ridiculously expensive. I ended up asking for a Californian Salad, which had lettuce, avocado and grapefruit (and in the menu also shrimp, but I asked them to not put it in mine) and paid 18 euros for it! Needless to say, I wasn't very happy.

However, the sky cleared up a bit, and when we finished our meal we were able to walk around the town a little.
Me (covered in a green towel since I was soaked and cold) and my boyfriend

We explored a few streets and walked around the port a little. We didn't stay for very long though, and went back to Antibes quite early, in time for me to have cereal before taking a shower.

For dinner, I had some vegan nuggets from Céréal Grill Vegetal I had found in the Casino Supermarket with delicious McCain's seasoned potato wedges. The nuggets were alright, not as good as the Fry's Chicken Style Nuggets I sometimes get here in Portugal.

And that was my last meal of the day, only 3 days left now...
